Support of STPMIC automatic detection on ST boards The STM32PRGFW-UTIL is an STMicroelectronics original initiative to manage the One-time Programmable (OTP) memories and also supports STPMIC programming.

1. STM32PRGFW-UTIL - version 1.1.2

Important

It is mandatory to use STM32PRGFW-UTIL version v1.1.1 and above, to avoid bricking of your device. This new version v1.1.2 has some dependencies with STM32CubeIDE 1.16.1 (and higher version) and STM32CubeProgrammer v2.18.0 for PMIC NVM programming, it is mandatory to update also those 2 other ST tools

1.1. Main changes

• Support of STPMIC automatic detection on ST boards
• Support of STM32MP23x lines  through STM32MP2 series binary

1.2. Main restrictions

• STM32MP15x lines  boards fail sometimes to connect to STM32CubeProgrammer via UART (reset the board and try again)

Download	Version 1.1.2 STM32PRGFW-UTIL firmware package is available here .
Installing the STM32PRGFW-UTIL	To use STM32PRGFW-UTIL, unzip the package on computer. Then refer to READMED.md , to use this tool.
